Your voice matters here—use it to build the future, make an impact, and continuously improve the guest experience.As the Bartender, you are responsible for effectively serving customers and presenting great customer service by providing information to help with food and beverage selections, creating and presenting order choices, and maintain a great dining experience by promoting a warm and friendly atmosphere.WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKETake customers’ food and drink ordersEnsure that all orders are accurate and delivered to each table in a timely mannerSuggest appetizers and meals to customers based on the menu and specialsMake and serve drinks following established guidelines, procedures and policies regarding beverage and safety controls as prescribed by company standards.Properly set up bar, including stocking and batchingFollow health and safety practices alwaysControl allocated guest checks by following established check-use procedures and legibly documenting all required information as the customer's order is taken and processed.Process payments from guests and ensures accuracy of guest check and method of payment in order to safeguard customer and company.Completed all prep work prior to bar start timeServe food and/or beverage; ensuring consistency throughout mealComply with all state and local liquor regulationsRespond promptly to any guest requestMaintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and mannerismMaintain clear and open communication between all staff for overall outstanding dining experienceDuring service, maintain all work areas including any side work duties for overall productivity and successOnce service is complete, all dining areas must be re-setCreate a pleasurable dining experience for all of our guestsHave fun at work; leave baggage at the door; come to work with a positive attitude ready and willing to help create a fun and memorable experience for our guestsGHG24 Requirements: WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEEDExperience and/or TrainingBasic math skills required, must be able to add, subtract, and count change back to customer, legible handwriting, and strong customer service and oral communication skills. Must hold a valid Operator’s License. Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.YOU’LL STAND OUT IF YOU BRINGExperience and/or TrainingWine experience and/or certification.
