Radiation Therapist (Sign On Bonus Included)Job DetailsJob Location: ROCA CyberKnife Rad Onc - Phoenix, AZPosition Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DayDescriptionTHIS POSITION INCLUDES A SIGN ON BONUSPosition SummaryThe Radiation Therapist is responsible for assisting with the daily patient flow of the clinic and supporting the Radiation Oncologist in the delivery of prescribed treatments. This position requires technical expertise in operating advanced radiation therapy equipment, ensuring treatment accuracy, and providing exceptional patient care in accordance with established procedures and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister prescribed radiation treatments utilizing CyberKnife, TrueBeam, and Gammex HDR systems in conjunction with the Aria Record and Verify platform.Perform patient simulations using the GE Lightspeed Big Bore CT under the supervision and directive of the Radiation Oncologist.Construct custom treatment devices to ensure precision and reproducibility of treatments.Collaborate closely with the on-site Dosimetrist and Medical Physicist to support treatment planning and delivery.Prepare treatment rooms, explain procedures to patients, position patients, and administer therapy while continuously monitoring the patient’s condition.Uphold the highest standards of patient safety, accuracy, and quality of care throughout all procedures.Maintain detailed treatment records in compliance with regulatory and departmental standards.QualificationsGraduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy program.Current ARRT (T) certification and state licensure (as required).Current BLS certification.Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in radiation therapy preferred (new graduates will be considered).Proficiency in the use of CyberKnife, TrueBeam, Aria, and GE CT systems is highly desirable.Skills & CompetenciesStrong technical aptitude and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support patients and collaborate with the oncology care team.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.Commitment to patient-centered care and compassionate service.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to new technologies and procedures.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and move for extended periods.Ability to assist with patient positioning and transfers as needed.Manual dexterity for operating treatment equipment and constructing devices.Work EnvironmentThis position is based in a clinical radiation oncology setting and involves direct patient interaction, daily use of specialized medical equipment, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team.Benefits & CompensationWe offer a competitive compensation package, including:Comprehensive health insuranceVision and dental insurancePaid Time Off (PTO)401(k) retirement plan with employer contributionSupportive, team-oriented clinical environmentQualificationsPI0135defc917e-35196-38546395
