Progressive Recruitment is hiring: Data / Business Analyst in Baltimore

Maryland's largest gas and electric utility is seeking a Data Analyst to support Innovation and Research and Development within BGE. Strong Excel and data analysis skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Review all ideas submitted to Innovation Central daily, determine the appropriate organization for detailed review, and lead bi-weekly innovation meetings.
• Assess new ideas from all operating companies for BGE's benefit, maintain a database of ideas and their statuses, and ensure ideas are moved to Investigation when appropriate.
• Work with Innovation Leads to provide timely updates to idea submitters.
• Document monthly metrics, prepare reports for monthly and quarterly reviews, and support governance processes.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in peer group and innovation calls, coordinate support for Exelon expos, and assist with ideation challenges.
• Collaborate with communications teams to highlight innovations and develop materials for meetings and communications.

Qualifications

Experience as a Data Analyst, proficiency in data analysis, and familiarity with innovation processes are preferred.
