The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC machines, EDM machines, and other related equipment to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency for production.Highlights and BenefitsQuarterly profit-sharing bonus; eligible upon hirePaid time off401(k) with company matchPaid holidaysTuition / professional development reimbursementHealth, dental, and vision insuranceOptional HSA with company contributionShort-term disability, long term disability, and life insurance at no costLimitless opportunity for advancement Requirements: Perform routine and preventative maintenance on CNC mills, EDM sinkers, waterjet, and snag grinder equipmentTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in production equipmentRead and interpret electrical schematics, machine manuals, and technical drawings to diagnose issues and perform repairsCollaborate with production supervisors, machinists, and engineers to minimize downtime and optimize machine performanceAssist in machine installations, relocations, and setups when neededEnsure compliance with all safety procedures, lockout/tagout protocols, and company policiesRespond promptly to equipment breakdowns or performance issuesParticipate in continuous improvement efforts, including root cause analysis and equipment upgradesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)High school diploma or GEDMinimum 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with emphasis on CNC and EDM machineryStrong knowledge of Fanuc, Siemans, Haas, Sodick, or Mitsubishi CNC controlsExperience with sinker EDM equipment (e.g., Sodick)Able to diagnose and repair complex electrical, mechanical, and fluid systemsProficient with hand tools, multimeters, and diagnostic equipmentFamiliar with OSHA safety regulations and standard machine shop practicesTechnical degree or certification in industrial maintenance or a related fieldExperience working in AS9100 or ISO 9001-certified environmentsAble to lift up to 50 lbsAble to stand, walk, bend, and climb ladders regularly throughout the shiftAble to work in a noisy, fast-paced manufacturing environmentUse of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as requiredNoteThis job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee(s) incumbent in this position.
