265 E ROLLINS ST, Orlando, 32804 The community you’ll be caring for: When you join our team of over 45 Outpatient Clinics across Central Florida, you will be part of a winning team of experts dedicated to whole-person care to help our patients heal, strengthen and renew.
We serve patients Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Polk, Volusia, Flagler and Lake Counties with a dedicated Team of therapists, clinicians and staff willing to carry on patients Orange mission in the communities we serve.
As an Ortho Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting you will provide professional direct and indirect services to specific age groups in the outpatient rehabilitation settings. Utilizes process improvement in achieving the goals of the Sports Med and Rehab Department. Accept the responsibility to practice autonomously and collaboratively in all practice environments to provide best practice to the patient/client. Autonomous practice is characterized by independent, self-determined, professional judgment and action.
The role you’ll contribute: Responsible for providing direct and indirect massage services to specific age groups in the Hospital and Outpatient setting This role utilizes process improvement to achieve the goals of the Rehabilitation Department. In addition, this position maintains respectful relationships with patients and coworkers, and actively participates in delivering outstanding customer service. The value you’ll bring to the team: Documents all proceedings accurately to ensure program quality and meet hospital and department standards.
Other duties as assigned.
Records additional pertinent information such as medical history in notes and other appropriate forms at the time of occurrence.
Maintains area-specific productivity standards and markets the massage program in the hospital, community, and to medical personnel as indicated.
