(www.fibertek.com) is a leading developer of laser and electro-optical systems for the aerospace community, supporting NASA, DoD, and commercial partners with advanced technologies for earth-sensing, laser communications, and lidar applications. We are seeking an Electrical Test Engineer to support the development of next-generation laser transmitter subsystems, lidar systems, and space-based communications platforms. In this role, you will design and execute test plans, perform detailed testing of electronic assemblies and circuit boards, and conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis to ensure high performance and reliability in critical applications.Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement test plans and procedures for electronic assemblies in aerospace and defense systemsExecute functional and diagnostic tests on PCBs, subassemblies, and integrated unitsAnalyze test data to identify issues, confirm performance, and improve product qualityCoordinate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issuesDocument test outcomes, deviations, and corrective measures clearly and accuratelyContribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologiesJob Requirements: Experience and Expertise Required:Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or a related fieldMinimum 2 years of experienceExperience using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generatorsProficiency in reading schematics and interpreting technical documentationStrong problem-solving and communication skillsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and test coverageBackground in aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability environmentsMaintain meticulous records of test results, nonconformances, and corrective actionsDrive continuous improvement in testing protocols, equipment, and best practicesPreferred Requirements:Familiarity with space-qualified hardware, environmental testing, or flight systemsKnowledge of IPC standards, ESD protocols, and electronics testing best practicesExperience with automated test platforms or scripting test routinesPI9f5405afd7a6-35196-37994213
