Evening Janitor

A well-established janitorial business, serving our community for over 65 years is seeking an Evening Janitor. With a dedicated team of 26 employees year-round, growing to 36 during their busy winter season, this company offers a stable and supportive work environment. The position involves working an established evening route and performing a variety of cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, cleaning restrooms, windows, and public areas, and ensuring each space is maintained to a high standard.

Starting Pay: Up to $18/hour, depending on experience - Mileage reimbursement is included if a personal vehicle is used

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Essential Functions and Duties:

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors
• Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and mirrors
• Wipe down and sanitize high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs and light switches
• Restock supplies like paper towels, soap, and toilet paper
• Report maintenance issues or supply shortages

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 75lbs of cleaning equipment and the ability to bend, twist, carry, and have a full range of motion
• Ability to work independently
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
