Why we need you
The Warehouse Lead/Returns Logistics Specialist will provide leadership and oversight to the warehouse team, ensuring the proper documentation and identification of all contract and warranty service parts, and consumable material being returned from our customers and Field Service Technicians. This role is also responsible for driving process improvements, coaching team members, and maintaining efficient operations.
What you will be doing
Lead, train, and mentor warehouse team members.
Monitor warehouse productivity and coordinate logistical processes.
Create, implement, and follow standardized processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Properly identify and process incoming material returns, and ensure paperwork and system transactions are completed.
Process all Return Material Authorizations (RMA) activities to ensure timely customer credits while protecting company interests.
Work with cross-functional teams to provide material feedback to continuously improve and maintain standards and procedures.
Prepare required paperwork for return of unused, warranty, and repairable material.
Maintain a neat, organized working area.
Perform other duties as assigned, including:
Shipping
Receiving
Cycle counts
Warehouse maintenance
The physical demands of the job
Capable of pushing, pulling, and/or lifting 50+ pounds during the workday.
Able to stand, walk, bend, and/or reach throughout the workday.
What we are looking for
2+ years of management or supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
Enforce standardized procedures, and implement changes to continuously improve established procedures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Critical thinker with the ability to make sound decisions in real time.
Effective communication with internal and external customers.
Technical proficiency with computers; able to navigate multiple platforms and systems.
Familiarity with Outlook and Microsoft Office.
Working knowledge of UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager.
Familiarity with SAGE/MAS and Astea.
Forklift certification preferred.
Safety conscious with strong attention to detail.
Flexibility to adapt with changing requirements.
High School Diploma or GED preferred
College degree a plus
