Title: Lease Administrator Location: cton Massachusetts 01720 (Hybrid, 1 day/week) Duration: 09 months with possible extension or conversion Pay Rate: $38.00 to $40.00/hr. ON W2
Hybrid in Acton, MA. 1x/week in office, flexible on day
The Lease Administrator plays a critical role in managing ***'s real estate portfolio by overseeing lease agreements, ensuring compliance with lease terms, and supporting financial and operational aspects of leased properties. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments including Legal, Finance, and Facilities.
Key Responsibilities: Lease Management & Administration - Maintain and update lease records in the lease management system. - Track critical dates such as lease expirations, renewals, rent escalations, and options. - Ensure timely execution of lease-related obligations and deliverables. - Support from and work with Third Party Real Estate Brokerage Firm
Financial Oversight - Review and process rent payments, CAM charges, and other lease-related expenses. - Reconcile landlord invoices and resolve discrepancies. - Support budgeting and forecasting for lease-related costs.
Compliance & Documentation - Ensure lease agreements comply with company policies and legal requirements. - Coordinate with Legal to review and interpret lease clauses. - Maintain organized digital and physical lease files.
Reporting & Analysis - Generate regular reports on lease status, occupancy, and financial obligations. - Provide data and insights to support strategic real estate decisions. > Cross-Functional Collaboration - Liaise with landlords, property managers, and internal stakeholders. - Support real estate transactions including new leases, renewals, and terminations. - Assist in due diligence for acquisitions or dispositions.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or related field. - 3+ years of experience in lease administration or commercial real estate. - Proficiency in lease management software (e.g., MRI, Yardi, Lucernex). - Strong understanding of lease terms, legal language, and financial principles. - Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills: - Experience with international leases and multi-site portfolios. - Familiarity with GAAP & technical lease accounting standards. - Familiarity with SAP Access and Reporting capabilities - Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting tools.
