Sr. Director of Cybersecurity

This role is eligible to participate in Zenith's hybrid work schedule which provides the flexibility to work from home on select days of the week according to the in-office schedule established by regional executive leadership. Selected candidate must be able to report into the Woodland Hills, CA or Sarasota, FL office on a weekly basis.

Overview

Responsible for the technical design, planning, implementation, performance tuning and recovery of our Cybersecurity infrastructure, posture and supporting infrastructure. Serve as a technical expert and mentor in Cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and manage the performance of a team of cybersecurity professionals responsible for monitoring, detecting and responding to threats.
  • Proven ability to lead security architecture initiatives for network security, data protection, identity and access management, and cloud computing.
  • Design and implement security architecture throughout enterprise that aligns with business requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to architecture and compliance frameworks such as CIS, CCPA, HIPAA and NYDFS.
  • Establish, document and implement security architecture policies, standards and best practices.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of security controls and risk mitigation measures.
  • Keep up to date with cybersecurity landscape, evaluating and recommending new technologies.
  • Document and communicate security architecture decisions and strategies effectively.
  • Experience in responding to and resolving cybersecurity incidents.
  • Drive deployment of new platforms, technologies and features to meet lifecycle management and business requirements.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of emerging threats, vulnerabilities and regulatory changes.
  • Recognized as a technical expert and a mentor to engineering teams on frameworks, tools and technologies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of training/experience required

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and secure software development lifecycle.
  • 5+ years of experience leading a team of cybersecurity professionals
  • Experience supporting implementations in a hybrid cloud environment
  • Experienced in either Systems (Windows or Linux) or Network engineering including design and management
  • Experience with network security products including Firewalls, WAF, Proxy, NAC, VPNs and end user device security
  • Experience with network security in a public cloud environment
  • Experience with network hardware
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA and GSEC are a plus

The expected salary range for this position is $167,075.82 - $218,033.95. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. Qualifications may warrant placement in a different job level.
