Location: Redlands, CA Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3×12s Nights Pay: $2,422.80/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) to join a healthcare facility in Redlands, CA on a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide critical care to patients with complex and life-threatening conditions in a high-acuity environment. The ideal candidate is experienced in ICU nursing, adaptable to fast-paced settings, and committed to delivering patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU. Monitor and manage patient vital signs, ventilators, infusion pumps, and other advanced medical equipment. Administer medications, fluids, and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team. Respond promptly to emergency situations such as code blues and rapid response events. Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other care team members to coordinate patient care. Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in the medical record. Adhere to infection control practices, safety guidelines, and evidence-based ICU protocols. Qualifications
Current and valid RN license in California (or compact eligibility). Minimum 1-2 years of recent ICU nursing experience in an acute care setting. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); CCRN preferred. Proficiency in critical thinking, communication, and rapid decision-making under pressure. Compassionate and adaptable approach to patient care. COVID-19 vaccine and recent tuberculosis test.
