ABR is seeking a highly organized and customer-oriented individual to join a small office in Waupaca as an Administrative Assistant/Customer Service Representative (CSR). In this dual role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to various departments while also delivering exceptional service to our customers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Wage: Based on experience

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9a.m.-5p.m.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support:

  • Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying, scanning, and filing documents.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone calls.
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and conference calls for team members.
  • Assist with data entry, recordkeeping, and maintaining electronic and paper filing systems.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.

Customer Service

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing assistance and resolving inquiries via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns with professionalism and empathy, striving for prompt resolution.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of company products, services, and policies to effectively address customer inquiries.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

Communication And Collaboration

  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, and external partners to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Provide administrative assistance to various team members.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by demonstrating teamwork and professionalism.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to administrative support and customer service.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and compliance standards at all times.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Must have insurance license/experience.
  • Proven experience in administrative support and/or customer service roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with professionalism.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all work tasks.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
