• The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care across the wellness-illness spectrum for healthy retired Sisters and those with acute, chronic, or terminal conditions.
• Responsibilities include applying knowledge of infection control, safety, body mechanics, effective communication, interpersonal skills, and age-related considerations when delivering or delegating care.
• Requires an associate degree (bachelor's preferred) from an accredited nursing program, with a valid RN license in Texas.
• Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interpret medical records, physician orders, and care plans.
• Experience in gerontology (minimum one year) and supervisory roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of psychotropic and geriatric medications is advantageous.
• This is a full-time position.
