Base pay range

$40.00/hr - $47.00/hr

Title: LTC-RN

Location: Holdredge, NE 68949

Duration: 13-week Contract with possibility of Extension

Shift: Days; 7:00 AM - 7 :00 PM

Guaranteed Hours: PRN

Pay Range: $40-$47 /Per Hour (DOE)

Job Summary

• Assists in the professional management of the facility medical department
• Apply appropriate nursing skills in the care and treatment of inmates/residents.
• Attend sick calls with the physician to see inmates/residents; prepare a list of inmates/residents to be examined.
• Prepare the examination room and equipment. Operate pill call, dispense medication and document as required by applicable policies and/or procedures.
• Control medication, syringes and other medical supplies or equipment and inventory as required by established procedures.
• Perform emergency procedures as needed. Keep equipment and work area clean; utilize appropriate sanitation methods.
• Document and report activities in accordance with established policies and/or procedures including medical file documentation.
  
  

• RN License in the state of practice or Compact License.
• Active BLS is required.
• ONE year’s RN experience is required.
