Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Night Shift – Springfield, Vermont

Emergency Room RN Job Details

• Location: Springfield, VT 05156 (Vermont healthcare jobs)
• Facility: Hospital Emergency Department
• Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour night shifts)
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
• Assignment Length: 12 weeks (Start: 9/8/2025 – End: 12/1/2025)
• Block Scheduling: Not available
• Local Traveler Policy: Not eligible if residing within 50 miles
• Transportation: Personal vehicle required (no public transportation)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130
  
  

ER Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent hospital Emergency Department RN experience
• At least 3 months of travel nursing experience preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Current certifications required:
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• PALS (AHA)
• TNCC
• Completed skills checklist for ER RN (within 1 year)
• 1 supervisory signed reference from the past 2 years
• Work history and license/certifications uploaded with application
• Ability to commute reliably with own vehicle
• Requested time off must be included at submission (maximum 5 days)
  
  

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Screen and triage patients promptly upon arrival to the Emergency Department
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations
• Collaborate with physicians, physician assistants, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and medical records
• Respond rapidly to emergency situations and adhere to clinical protocols
• Participate in orientation and comply with hospital policies and procedures
