Travel RN Educator Job Details

• Location: Pittsfield, MA (01201) – Massachusetts healthcare jobs
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (August 18, 2025 – November 17, 2025)
• Healthcare Setting: Family Birthplace Unit (School Setting)
• Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend/holiday rotation required
• On-Call: None
• Orientation: 8 hours (non-billable)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2520 - $2700
  
  

RN Educator Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent RN Educator experience in perinatal nursing (required)
• Expertise in educating circulating nurses in the operating room for C-sections (required)
• BSN or higher degree in nursing (required)
• Active Massachusetts RN license (required for Massachusetts nursing jobs)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA, required)
• NRP certification (required)
• Experience with Meditech Expanse (strongly preferred)
• Must have own vehicle for assignment
• COVID-19 vaccination (dose date on or after 10/3/23) or approved exemption (required)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from facility
• Ability to provide work history, skills checklist (current to 1 year), and one supervisory reference (from past 2 years)
  
  

Key Responsibilities for RN Educator – Perinatal/OR Circulator

• Educate and mentor clinical staff on circulating in the operating room for C-sections within the family birthplace unit
• Develop and deliver educational programs and training sessions for perinatal and surgical nursing staff
• Ensure compliance with best practices and hospital protocols in perinatal and surgical care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance patient safety and quality of care
• Support onboarding and orientation of new nursing staff members
• Maintain accurate documentation of educational activities and staff competencies
