Chicago Nursing Job Details

• Location: Chicago, IL 60617 (Illinois nursing jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: Nursing Administration with PACU focus

• Shift: 10-hour day shifts
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,370 - $2,430 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in Illinois or compact state (Registered Nurse Illinois)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in nursing administration or related specialties (PACU, Same Day Surgery, Detox, Bone Marrow Transplant, Mental Health, or IDD preferred)
• Current BLS certification
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced clinical environment
  
  

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee administrative nursing operations within the assigned unit
• Provide clinical support to PACU and related departments to ensure high-quality patient care
• Assist with staff scheduling, regulatory compliance, and workflow optimization
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and nursing staff education
• Serve as a resource for nursing staff, patients, and families in the healthcare facility
