- Location: Altoona, PA 16601
- Unit: T12 Medical Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 10/13/2025 – End: 1/11/2026)
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts
- Hours per Week: 36
- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,880 - $2,020
PCU RN Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or compact state
- At least 1 year of recent PCU or Step Down nursing experience
- BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care abilities
PCU RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and vital signs
- Administer medications, treatments, and prescribed interventions
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate and timely patient care documentation
- Educate and support patients and their families regarding care plans
