3rd Shift Sanitation Full-time
Hourly 3RD SHIFT

JBS is seeking an hourly Sanitation Team Member! Position pays 21.50 per hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• To clean and sanitize machinery and floors in a production line setting
• Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around assigned area
• Sets up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies
• Monitors and maintains sanitation and organization of assigned areas
• Operate heavy equipment
• Expect to work hands on at high speed and times to lift over 50 pounds
• Stay aware of your surroundings and notify a supervisor if you recognize a hazard
• Performs other duties as needed or as assigned

Functional Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs on occasion
• Ability to walk 48 hours daily
• Ability to stoop and bend at the waist on occasion
• Must use proper personal protective equipment effectively

Work Environment

• Must be able to work in a cold, damp, and hot environment
• Production and maintenance settings
• Exposure to various chemicals, machinery, and knives
• Slippery floors, cold temperatures, and loud ambient noise

Qualifications

• Strong desire to work in a hands-on environment
• Good attendance and safety records
• Must be 18 years of age or older
