Corporate Tools is hiring a Software Engineer. You will be a traditional company employee. This is a full-time 40 hour/week position with company benefits. This is a remote position. Our main office is in Spokane, WA, with satellite offices in Austin, TX, and Salt Lake City, UT.

Wage:

$90,000 - $140,000/year DOE

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate effectively with the team
• Learn Ruby and Rails frameworks
• Contribute to high-quality software releases
• Address bugs and develop parts of large projects
• Design and build high-traffic Ruby on Rails applications
• Refactor monolithic Ruby code into organized Rails code
• Develop innovative systems from scratch
• Maintain a growth mindset

Requirements:

• BSc in Computer Science or relevant experience
• 2-4 years full-stack application development experience
• Experience with Vue, Angular, or React
• 2+ years with frameworks like Rails, Laravel, Django, etc.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and relational databases in production
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, or similar tools
• Unique or quirky personal qualities
• Experience leading projects and mentoring engineers
• 4-5 years designing, building, maintaining web applications
• 2-3 years with Vue, Angular, or React
• Experience with AWS services like ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, etc.
• Experience with CI/CD and Docker for 2+ years
• Ability to work in an agile environment focusing on continuous integration and deployment
• Strong security principles knowledge, especially for e-commerce
