Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is searching for Software Engineers /Principal Software Engineers (multiple positions) to join the Global C2 Solutions Business Unit in support of our programs, in Huntsville, AL.

These positions are 100% onsite in Huntsville, AL. This role focuses heavily on Java and Object Oriented development (not web development, etc.)

Basic Qualifications:

• Software Engineer level- 2 Years with Bachelors in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM- required by the program); OR Masters Degree.
• Principal Software Engineer level- 5 Years with Bachelors in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM); 3 Years with Masters; 1 Years with PhD
• Active Secret Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain Secret Clearance
• Experience developing software using Java
• Experience developing software using C++
• Experience developing software on Linux
• Experience managing source code using Git, GitHub, or GitLab
• Understanding of all phases of software development, and practical experience in an Agile/Dev*Ops environment
