Job Description

• Analyze labor, material, and time requirements to compute accurate project costs
• Review blueprints, proposals, specifications, and documentation to prepare detailed estimates
• Resolve discrepancies by gathering and interpreting relevant project information
• Assemble and present detailed numerical and descriptive estimate packages
• Produce special reports by analyzing trends and summarizing project data
• Conduct conceptual, schematic, and design development budget estimates
• Manage take-offs at all project levels and apply accurate unit pricing
• Review plans and documentation for consistency and accuracy
• Collaborate with team members during the bidding and proposal process
• Grow into a leadership role within the estimating and preconstruction group

The Successful Applicant

• 5+ years of estimating experience with a commercial general contractor
• Experience preparing bids for projects valued at $5 million+
• A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and cost structures
• OSHA certification preferred
• Familiarity with estimating software and digital take-off tools
• A detail-oriented mindset and excellent analytical skills
• Team-first attitude with a drive to lead and grow
