The LaSalle Group is hiring: Senior Accountant in Chicago

LaSalle Network is hiring a Senior Accountant to join a growing financial services organization based in Chicago. This role is perfect for someone with 3-5 years of accounting experience-ideally within lending or financial services-who thrives on solving problems, working with data, and reconciling complex transactions. This position offers the chance to learn directly from a seasoned CFO and a senior accounting mentor while building relationships with key lending customers.

Senior Accountant Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting and settlement processes for 2-3 major lending customers
  
• Reconcile balances and ensure revenue accuracy across multiple accounts
  
• Partner closely with a Senior Accountant mentor to learn industry-specific processes
  
• Work with 3rd-party lending activity under credit access bureau laws
  
• Leverage Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, large datasets) and QuickBooks Online for daily work
  
• Support ad hoc financial analysis, with exposure to Power BI reporting

Senior Accountant Requirements:

• 3-5 years of accounting experience; financial services/lending background preferred
  
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, dataset management)
  
• Strong QuickBooks Online experience
  
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to dig into issues independently
  
• Strong communication and organizational skills
  
• Ability to work onsite three days a week in Chicago

Compensation for this role is $70,000 - $80,000, depending on experience.
