Description: DTMB @ MDOT is seeking a Business Analyst to support the Michigan Department of Transportation.

Position Responsibilities:

• Conduct walkthroughs of use case and GUI documentation.
• Mentor less experienced Business Analysts on the team.
• Work independently and collaboratively.
• Establish and maintain effective client relationships.
• Maintain solid knowledge of Finance Systems.
• Use database querying tools like TOAD.
• Understand the State Unified Information Technology Environment (SUITE).
• Apply structured SDLC and/or CMMI methodologies. Required: 8 years
• Prepare use and test cases. Required: 8 years
• Develop IT project documentation including use cases, requirements, and system designs. Required: 8 years
• Utilize industry-standard methodologies such as SDLC, PMM, and Systems Engineering (SEM). Required: 8 years
• Create and document workflows. Required: 8 years
• Contribute to estimating use case/user story efforts. Required: 8 years
• Experience with Financial Systems. Required: 8-3 years
