UT Austin provides an outstanding benefits package including but not limited to:* Competitive health benefits (Employee premiums covered at 100%, family premiums at 50%)* Vision, Dental, Life, and Disability insurance options* Paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays* Teachers Retirement System of Texas (a defined benefit retirement plan)* Additional Voluntary Retirement Programs: Tax Sheltered Annuity 403(b) and a Deferred Compensation program 457(b)* Flexible spending account options for medical and childcare expenses* Training and conference opportunities* Tuition assistance* Athletic ticket discounts* Access to UT Austin's libraries and museums* Free rides on all UT Shuttle and Capital metro buses with staff ID cardFor more details, please see: and## PurposeThis position will manage Slate requests for the Office of Graduate Admissions and campus partners and work with the Office of Graduate Admissions and Academic Information System (AIS) Slate teams to ensure data integrity, evaluate current practices and create queries, reports, and workflows to maximize efficiency in Slate.## Responsibilities* Develop and maintain internal queries and portals for use by internal-admissions team members and campus partners to execute application review and processing.* Develop shared query libraries, templates, fields and exports, reports, and dashboards for users to track, understand and respond to their work.* Serve as resource within Office of Graduate Admissions and for campus partners who utilize Slate CRM.* Review and update standard source formats and mappings within the Slate CRM solution.* Contribute to training programs and process reviews for business users in the areas of admissions file review and application processing.* Contribute to the growth and modification of the Slate CRM platform by acquiring and maintaining knowledge of emerging resources and tools to support Slate users, including keeping up with the Slate roadmap, coordinating release management, and conducting system and user acceptance testing.* Research and develop solutions to new or unknown issues within Slate; work with the Academic Information System (AIS) team to resolve technical user issues.* Contribute positively to other duties as assigned.## Required QualificationsBachelors degree and previous experience with CRM, document imaging software, admissions and/or university software including Technolutions Slate. At least one (1) year of experience in training users in technical systems and process reviews to understand and best inform business users of system best practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to represent the department with external constituents. Ability to manage multiple competing priorities at one time; assist with the planning, installation and operation, and effective utilization of multiple software platforms. Demonstrated ability to work as a team member, adaptable and proactive in problem identification and resolution, critical thinking and acceptance of improved technology and data collection, measurement, and presentation in a fast-paced environment. Computer skills must include proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite.*Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.*## Preferred QualificationsProficiency with building configurable joins queries in Slate CRM. Experience with SQL. Production experience with technologies such as HTML, XML, VBA, JavaScript, etc. Experience with statistical software (R, SAS, Stata, etc.) and/or data visualization software (Tableau, SAS Viya, etc.). Previous experience working in higher education admissions or related field with organizational processes preferred.
