Role overview

Billing Solution Designer with deep expertise in Amdocs and mobile services to join our team. This role focuses on designing robust billing solutions and ensuring alignment between business requirements and technical capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Computer Science, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate and negotiate across teams.

Base pay range

$55.00/hr - $65.00/hr

Rate: $55 - $65 / hr. w2

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. For our w2 consultants, we offer a benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect billing solutions for mobile services using Amdocs platforms.
• Analyze business scenarios to identify billing mismatches, including overcharges and undercharges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies between billing and provisioning data.
• Provide strategic input to the billing design team based on data analysis and business needs.
• Participate in frequent calls and meetings, effectively communicating and negotiating with stakeholders.
• Develop dashboards and scorecards to monitor billing accuracy and solution effectiveness using tools like Power BI and Tableau.
• Automate reporting and data workflows using Power Automate.

Experience requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in billing solution design, preferably within mobile services.
• Hands-on experience with Amdocs billing systems.
• Strong understanding of billing processes and architecture; no coding required.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle SQL, Hadoop, Impala, and Hive.
• Background in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to negotiate ?nfluence across teams and stakeholders.

Preferred skills

• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Familiarity with automation tools like Power Automate.
• Prior experience in telecom billing assurance or similar domains.
