Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of social workers in the Emergency Department at St. Mary's Hospital.
• Fulfills all requirements of the Section of Social Work Social Worker-Clinical job description.
• Provide clinical and administrative supervision to social work and Care Management staff.
• Make supervisory decisions regarding daily tasks of staff.
• Fulfill the dual role of supervisor and social worker, balancing supervisory duties with a clinical workload in the supervisee's area.
• Provide direction and guidance to unit personnel; analyze work processes to improve outcomes and services; oversee orientation and performance management of supervisees; participate in section/practice group planning; attend meetings to share information with other areas.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
• Be an integral member of a collaborative, innovative team dedicated to making a positive impact.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work from an accredited school of social work.
• At least three years of social work experience in a medical setting.
• Adherence to the NASW Code of Ethics and NASW Standards for Social Work Practice in Healthcare Settings.
• Current state licensure at the LICSW level (Minnesota).

$78,936 - $118,456 per year; Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
