What the 107 Line Cook does! As a Line Cook, you’ll execute salads, entrees, appetizers and desserts based on the design of the Executive Chef. Working in our mobile food facility within 107 at Testarossa Winery in Los Gatos, the day to day may include: Preparing menu items at our off-site kitchen and assisting with other culinary tasksExecuting menu items at the winery including plating of salad, entrees, appetizers and desserts and buffet items based on the design of the Chef de CuisineSetting up, breaking down and cleaning, including food transport from catering vanOrganizing, rotating, and assessing inventory levels of food storage areas Working efficiently in a face-paced environment Requirements: 1+ year of kitchen experience or equivalent culinary educationServSafe and/or California Food Handlers CertificationSafe knife skills Ability to work effectively in a team, be proactive, have a sense of urgency, a positive attitude and effective communicationWork Environment & Physical RequirementsMust be available 3 days/week within our service hoursWalk, stand, bend, kneel, and reach frequently for the duration of the shift Lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequentlyHandles sharp and hot tools regularlyFrequently utilizes cleaning chemicalsDrive to/from the offsite kitchen in San Jose to the Winery in Los Gatos, as needed #ZRCompensation details: 22-27 Hourly WagePI677cc0df94fe-35196-38317794
