Summary:The Senior Accountant is responsible for handling of advanced level accounting procedures including, but not limited to, e-filing reconciliations, credit card transactions, and credit card tracking. The Senior Accountant is also responsible for maintaining procedural documents and responding to audit requests for the Accounting Department.Essential Functions and Duties:E-fling reconciliationsCredit Card Transaction HandlingCredit Card TrackingIdentify areas of improvement throughout the accounting department and work with key partners to implement changeDocument and create procedural documentsRespond to Audit requests and handle documentation collectionProvide backup for other rolesRequired Education & Experience:High School Diploma/GEDBA/BS in Accounting PreferredMinimum 5 years accounting experienceExperience with process documentationCompetencies:Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExtreme attention to detailClear written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivatedStrong time-management and prioritization skillsTech-orientedStrong Excel skills including experience with VLookup and PivotTablesIn addition to our regular background check and drug screen, this position also requires successful completion of a credit check.Work Environment and Physical Demands:This role operates in a professional office setting, routinely working with standard office equipment. Generally, due to the nature of this office position, the person in this role would be required to talk and hear, sit or stand for long period of time, and use their hands and fingers, to handle and feel.
