This Role:

Our team is currently seeking a Quality Engineer. This role will be based out of our Huntsville, Alabama manufacturing facility.

What You Will Do:

The Quality Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance and control processes within the HVAC manufacturing plant. This role involves conducting inspections, audits, and tests to ensure products meet quality standards, identifying and resolving quality issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reliability.

How You Will Do It: Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance and control procedures and documentation to ensure compliance with company and industry standards. Conduct inspections and tests of incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality specifications. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in quality processes and product design. Implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to drive quality improvements and reduce waste. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure that incoming materials meet quality standards and specifications. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure quality performance and drive improvements. Develop and implement testing protocols and procedures for HVAC products to ensure they meet performance and reliability requirements. Work with the design and engineering teams to develop quality plans for new products, including design for quality and reliability (DFQR). What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in quality engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field with 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering or quality assurance roles, preferably in the HVAC or related manufacturing industry. Proven experience in quality control, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Quality Engineer - CQE, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt) are a plus Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), quality assurance principles, and quality control techniques. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Proficiency with quality tools and methodologies, including statistical process control (SPC), FMEA, and Six Sigma. Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage quality improvement projects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers. What We Offer
