Join Our Team as a Health, Safety, & Environment (HSE) Manager - Lead Safety Excellence in Heavy Civil Construction
Salary: $90,000 annually
Shift: Standard daytime schedule; travel and fieldwork requirements may necessitate flexibility with hours and overnight stays

In this pivotal role, you will oversee comprehensive safety initiatives on major civil construction sites, setting the tone for a culture of safety and excellence. Your expertise will guide risk assessments, safety compliance, and training efforts, ensuring adherence to OSHA, MSHA, and DOT standards. You'll work alongside a talented team committed to "Better, Faster, Safe," fostering a proactive safety environment that makes a lasting difference.
Required Skills: Bachelor's Degree in HSE, Safety, or related field and at least 5 years of safety management experience; or 7+ years in a heavy civil construction supervisory or managerial role without a degree Proven experience managing safety on projects exceeding $25 million in revenue Deep knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, and DOT regulations Strong risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety training skills Excellent communication and leadership abilities Valid driver's license and willingness to travel/commute extensively to field sites Nice to Have Skills:
HSE/Safety certifications (e.g., CSP, OSHA Trainer) Experience with safety management on multiple projects or large-scale infrastructure works Familiarity with safety technology and innovative risk reduction techniques Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in HSE/Safety, Engineering, or related discipline preferred Minimum 5 years of hands-on safety management in civil construction environments Other Requirements:
Ability to travel overnight or long distances as needed Operate company vehicle (Ford F-150) Commitment to fostering a strong safety culture and continuous improvement Salary: $90,000 annually
