Location : Wood Glen Court, an Assisted Living senior community

Pay Rate : $15.00/hr.

Shifts Rotation: 4 on 2 off | 1st & 2nd Shift Available

PRN – all shifts

Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Help residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and dining, while encouraging independence and respect.

Serve meals in the dining room or residents' apartments, assist in meal preparation, and promote proper nutrition and hydration, respecting residents' right to free choice.

Participate in and initiate leisure activities, encouraging residents to socialize and form friendships.

Maintain accurate and timely records, documenting leisure activities, incidents, observations, and changes in residents' conditions.

Ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment by performing general housekeeping duties.

Follow proper procedures during emergencies and respond promptly to resident requests for assistance.

Keep track of residents' locations, remind them to sign out when leaving, and promptly report if a resident cannot be located.

Promote teamwork through positive interactions with co-workers.

Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.

Attend all required in-service training sessions.

Be an active member of the community’s emergency response team.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Current CNA certification.

High School diploma or GED required.

Current CPR certification.

6 months to 1 year of prior resident care experience, preferably with seniors.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Strong problem-solving skills, good judgment, and attention to detail.

Understanding of HIPAA requirements.

Must pass a background check and drug screen.
