Ensuring customer satisfaction by: Executing robust design and development of exterior automotive lighting products from initial concept to production. Ensuring Regulatory requirements are met through feasibility studies Performing DFMEA/DRBFM/FTA design reviews. Identifying, investigating, and resolving design issues Investigating and developing new technologies that can be applied to product design. Creating 2D/3D component/assembly drawings and BOMs. Confirming design through mock-up and tooling trials Ensuring design compliance with ISO 9001/14001 & IATF 16949 requirements. HOW YOU WILL BE REWARDED:

4 yr degree, B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree/experience 3 - 5 years' CAD experience CATIA V5 or V6 Familiar with FMVSS 108 and other global lighting regulations Understanding of electrical circuits and LED operation Experience with automotive design Proficient with Microsoft Office Preferred Experience:
2 - 5 years' experience with plastic injection molding Experience with ANSYS SPEOS, LUCIDSHAPE CAA V5 and Moldex3D
