Job Summary:
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Syracuse, NY. The technologist will perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures under the direction of radiologists while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and radiation safety.
Assignment Details:
Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, daytime hours
Hours: 40 hours/week
On-Call: Required
Qualifications:
A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent –
Required
Active New York State license/registration –
Required
Minimum 1 year of CT/MRI experience as a Radiologic Technologist –
Required
Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology experience –
Preferred
Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance
Responsibilities:
Perform radiographic and interventional imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocols
Greet and prepare patients, explain procedures, and position them appropriately for imaging
Select proper exposure factors to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
Ensure adherence to radiation safety standards to protect patients and staff
Operate imaging equipment efficiently and report any malfunctions to supervisors
Process images, document patient information, and update the Radiology Information System (RIS) for billing and medical records
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other clinical staff to support patient care during procedures
