About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Counsel, Product to join its dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the strategic and tactical legal advisement for the development and commercialization of prescription drug products, with a focus on oncology. This includes providing guidance on a wide range of issues such as healthcare fraud and abuse laws, FDA regulations, drug pricing and transparency laws, access and reimbursement matters, and privacy laws. The Senior Counsel, Product will also be involved in acting as a brand lawyer and reviewer on various committees, supporting compliance initiatives, and leading key projects across the organization. The ideal candidate should have a proactive mindset, a solution-oriented approach, and a strong background in product launch experience. Applicants for the Senior Counsel, Product position at the company should have a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school, with at least 7 years' of relevant legal experience in product support within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry. A strong preference is given to those with experience in launching a product in the U.S. market and at least 3 years' of in-house pharmaceutical or biotech oncology experience. The role requires significant knowledge of enforcement trends, the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, the False Claims Act, and related regulations. The candidate should be a team player with excellent collaboration and communication skills, and the ability to travel as needed.
