About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Product to lead the reimagining of its core user experiences, with a focus on the Starter and Supporter user journeys. The successful candidate will be responsible for increasing the engagement, retention, and satisfaction of these key user groups, and will play a pivotal role in the integration of AI into the product vision and strategy. This is a unique opportunity to work on a product that has a profound social impact, giving a voice to the voiceless and facilitating real change on a global scale. The role demands a leader with a deep understanding of the full product development process in at-scale B2C environments, a proven track record in driving user engagement, and a strong background in managing and empowering product teams. Key responsibilities for the VP of Product include stewarding empowering and consistent product processes, increasing eNPS scores, and driving 0→1 innovation. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years' experience in product management, with a focus on consumer technology, and a background that includes product marketing and storytelling. They should be adept at cross-functional collaboration, particularly with design and engineering teams, and have a strong emphasis on user research and insights. The role requires a leader with a high EQ, capable of mentoring and developing talent, and a deep alignment with the mission of the company to strengthen democracy and increase citizen engagement. The VP of Product will be a key member of the product leadership team, overseeing the product squads and working closely with the Chief Product Officer to bring the vision to life.
