We currently have an opening for a Surety Support Specialist. The role will be based out of one of the following office locations: Raleigh (NC), Charlotte (NC), Greensboro (NC), Roanoke (VA), Lynchburg (VA), or Richmond (VA), .

PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION

As a Surety Support Specialist, you will assist our surety bond account management team and existing clients by providing account support and bond administration assistance.

This will be an on-site position with the opportunity to move to a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office per week + 2 days from home) once training is complete.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as a primary 1st check in bid bond quality control process. Support ReSource Pro in conducting bond account manager audits. Manage bond numbers in Tinubu, process client requests via Tinubu and Applied Epic, and manage assigned Applied Epic activities. Prepare bond logs and execute bond documents, as requested by account managers. Process bond renewal exceptions and transact and distribute invoices with required renewal documentation when required. Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and prepare team meeting summaries. Correspond with clients, surety partners, and other bond department members. Perform other duties as assigned. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

A proven ability to handle sensitive information and maintain a high level of confidentiality. Strong organization/communication skills - including the ability to develop relationships and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Experience effectively managing multiple tasks and making decisions with limited oversight. Proficient with Microsoft Suite (MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, and Foxit).
