Manual QA Engineer

is a

Contract

opportunity and requires the candidate to

sit on site 3 days per week in Raleigh, NC.

Responsibilities of the Manual QA Engineer include: Design, execute, and maintain detailed manual test cases based on product requirements and user stories. Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to identify, document, and track software defects. Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across web and mobile platforms. Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices. Ensure compliance with healthcare industry standards and data integrity across company software solutions Qualifications for the Manual QA Engineer include:

Minimum of 3+ years of experience in manual testing and 1+ year in automated test scripting and execution within an Agile development environment. Proficiency in a wide range of testing methodologies including functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and user acceptance testing. Hands-on experience with test case and defect management systems, and the ability to generate and execute test plans from technical documentation and requirements. Familiarity with object-oriented programming languages such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or C# to support automation and technical collaboration. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, review documentation, and champion QA best practices throughout the SDLC. Compensation for the Manual QA Engineer:

Salary Range: $50/hr-$60/hr Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, sick leave if required by law, and 401k
