Lending Operations Senior Manager

to lead the

Business Line Operations Team

. This is Small Business Lending's largest volume product and requires a leader with a focus on efficiency, risk mitigation, straight-through processing, transformation, and a strong focus on the customer. Proficiency in developing people, inspirational leadership, and leading change is essential. In this role, responsibilities include leading the strategic direction and daily operations of the team, ensuring alignment with the company's strategies and goals. In this role, you will:

Manage and develop Loan Production teams responsible for loan processing, documentation, pre-closing or closing tasks

Engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners, and peers associated with the Lending Operations functional area

Dedication to delivering exceptional customer experiences and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of the lending product.

Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within Lending Operations functional area

Participate in the formulation and implementation of new and revised systems, policies, and guidelines

Oversee implementation of practices to ensure compliance with Wells Fargo legal, investor, regulatory, or business policies

Determine appropriate strategies and actions of Lending Operations team to meet moderate to high-risk deliverables

Interpret and develop policies and procedures for meeting compliance, risk management, and quality standards

Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including experienced managers

Interact with external customers throughout the conducting of loan processing

Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Lending Operations

Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Required Qualifications:

6+ years of Transactions and Processing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

3+ years of management or leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

Experience in Small Business

Experience and knowledge of nCino

Dedicated to delivering outstanding customer experiences with a strong commitment to excellence in all facets of lending operations

Prior experience in leading processing and loan originations teams

Strong understanding of how to deliver and scale on unsecured lending products

Proven track record of managing and developing processing and loan origination teams in a high-volume environment. A strong understanding of how to deliver and scale on unsecured lending products.

Experience driving transformation initiatives, including process and system improvements for new product launches

Ability to collaborate effectively with Product teams to establish and scale new lending products

Strong background in risk mitigation, compliance, and regulatory requirements within lending operations

Inspirational leadership skills, with a history of mentoring, motivating, and developing talent to achieve business objectives

Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels

Job Expectations:

Ability to work on-site at one the posted work locations

This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
