About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Technology and Cybersecurity Risk Governance. This senior leadership role is pivotal in the establishment and operationalization of a world-class Technology and Cyber Risk Management Oversight program. The successful candidate will be responsible for thought leadership, oversight, and advisement on the discovery and remediation of technology and cyber risks across the enterprise. Key responsibilities include maintaining the Technology Risk Policy, supporting the definition of risk appetite statements, and enhancing the design of the second-line risk opinion. The role also involves real-time oversight, challenge, and the facilitation of the Enterprise Technology Risk Framework. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years' experience in the financial or technology industries, with a strong background in risk management, compliance, or audit. Experience with regulatory exams, as well as advanced degrees or certifications in relevant areas, is highly valued. Candidates for this role at the company should be adept at collaborating, influencing, and driving the implementation of risk and control decisions. A strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and develop teams are essential. The role requires a candidate who can effectively communicate with C-level executives, translate technical issues into business terms, and provide strategic leadership on technology and cyber risk governance best practices. The company values diversity and is particularly interested in individuals who are passionate about change, innovation, and data-driven decision-making. While not all qualifications are mandatory, a strong background in technology and cyber risk governance, as well as a proactive approach to risk management, is a must.
