Loading Dock and Door Service Technician Job at Acme Dock Specialists in Wichita

We are seeking people with maintenance experience to join our team as a Loading Dock And Door Service Technician. Our Technicians make sure that America's manufacturers are able to quickly and safely move their products from the production floor to the semi trailer. We work with companies like Amazon, Ford, Tyson Foods, Schwan Food Company, and Pepsi. Any dock and door experience is a plus, but as long as you have a knack for fixing stuff, we'll train you to be successful.

Responsibilities:

• Repair, install, and adjust overhead doors, loading docks, and peripheral equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment
• Perform routine preventative maintenance
• Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in overhead doors or loading docks is a huge plus
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills (including electrical and hydraulic)
• Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload
