JoJo's Jerky is an Award Winning company in Las Vegas, NV 89120 (Sunset & Pecos) manufacturing innovative meat health foods.

We are seeking 2 bilingual PRODUCTION ASSISTANTS with the proven leadership experience. Fast paced food manufacturing environment. Plenty of room to grow with the company.

A PRODUCTION ASSISTANTS plays a critical role in ensuring quality, safety, and operational efficiency while fostering a productive and positive team environment. You’ll work closely with the General Manager and/ or Assistant Manager to ensure that production goals are met and oversee floor operations.

Key Responsibilities:

● Supervise and coordinate production team activities

● Ensure compliance with product quality and food safety standards

● Assist in planning and organizing daily production schedules

● Monitor and manage inventory levels and supply usage

● Troubleshoot operational issues and escalate when necessary

● Reinforce safety protocols and cleanliness in all areas

● Maintain accurate documentation and reporting

● Serve as liaison between production and management departments

● Promote a team-oriented and respectful work environment

● Inventory control

Technical Skills:

● 3+ years in food manufacturing or processing

● Knowledge of USDA regulations and HACCP protocols

● Active SNHD Health Card

● Inventory control and raw material tracking experience

● Experience in quality assurance, traceability, and sanitation practices

● Ability to work with production software

Leadership & Soft Skills:

● 3+ years of proven supervisory & management experience

● Effective communication and active listening skills

● Great de-escalation, conflict resolution and team mediation abilities

● Dependable under pressure

● Resourceful, with problem-solving attitude

● Ability to train and onboard new team members

● Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.89 per hour
