About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Manufacturing to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing, managing, and coordinating all activities related to manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, maintenance, and materials management. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and economical production of the company's products, in line with established goals and objectives. The VP will be expected to lead efforts in enhancing productivity, reducing costs, improving quality, and meeting customer expectations, all while maintaining a standard consistent with world-class organizations. Key responsibilities include annual budget development, hiring and developing top talent, and driving strategic initiatives to advance manufacturing capabilities. Applicants for the VP of Manufacturing position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with a Master's degree in an engineering discipline or MBA preferred. A minimum of 10 years' experience in product engineering, manufacturing engineering, management, and/or operations within a high-volume manufacturing environment is required. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in lean production principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and a strong background in materials management, including the negotiation and administration of multi-million-dollar procurement agreements. The ideal candidate will be a determined, results-oriented leader with superb communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and gaining commitment at all organizational levels. Responsibilities also include ensuring that manufacturing capabilities meet or exceed industry and customer requirements, as well as playing an active role in the development and implementation of policies and practices related to product supply, demand, and delivery.
