Overview

RN Unit Manager position at The Allure Group, a consortium of six rehabilitation centers across Brooklyn and Manhattan, NY. The role focuses on supervising nursing care in a Skilled Nursing Facility environment, upholding high standards of care, dignity, and respect for residents and staff.

Location: Brooklyn, NY. Employment type: Full-time.

RN Unit Manager Responsibilities

• Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify issues affecting resident outcomes
• Assess, review, and maintain daily resident care needs and appropriate care delivery
• Address resident and staff concerns to promote quality care
• Supervise staff nurses and CNAs to ensure completion and quality of duties
• Make rounds to observe and evaluate residents’ physical and emotional state
• Review orders and care plans
• Provide direct nursing care as necessary
• Perform all tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures

RN Unit Manager Requirements

• Valid, current RN license
• Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, and regulations pertaining to long-term care
• At least one year of supervisory experience in a long-term care facility
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

Preferred

• Previous experience with Point Click Care
