Overview
Horton, Inc., has an opening for a Flex Operator to work in our Westminster, SC location. The standard work hours are Sunday-Wednesday 9:30 pm to 7:30 am, with overtime, as needed. This position starts at $18.87 per hour and depends on experience.
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for various job such as assembling fans, balancing fans, and molding fans.

Responsibilities
Flex Operator Job Responsibilities:
- Will be expected to be able to perform daily tasks including following standard work to assemble product using machinery and/or hand tools.
- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions and blueprint specifications.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
- Verifies quality specifications by measuring completed component/product.
- Responsible for the operation and set-up of all simple and complex machines within their assigned area.
- Ensure data accuracy before transacting in inventory system.
- Elevate issues or suspected discrepancies to management.
- Will be required to fill in as Operator in other departments as directed/rotated.
- Train new operators when assigned.
- Practice 6S and maintain clean and safe work areas at all times.
- As with everyone on the team, other duties may be assigned in order to support the overall success of the company.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Previous relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Must be able to work with hand tools and other machinery.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to work well in a group and individually.
- Some degree of mechanical aptitude may be required.
- Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
