An exciting opportunity is now available for a compassionate and dedicated School Nurse (LPN) to join the Orlando Public School system for the 2025–2026 school year. This school-based, one-on-one nursing assignment allows you to play a vital role in supporting students’ health and well-being in a collaborative and caring educational environment.
This contract position offers the chance to provide individualized medical care in a structured daytime schedule—no nights, weekends, or holidays. It’s the perfect opportunity for nurses who thrive in pediatric settings and want to make a meaningful impact in their community while enjoying stability throughout the academic year.
Position Highlights
- School-based, one-on-one nursing assignment
- Daytime schedule during school hours

- 8 hour work day, and if bus ride is require; this will add another hour.
Requirements:
- Current copy of resume
- Copy of license verification
- Copy of BLS
- All nurses with students MUST complete fingerprinting and background checks with OCPS before allowed on campus.
- Must clear all background and drug screening.
- Pediatric experience is highly preferred.
