Description
Our enterprise client is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join their advanced applications team in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
This role requires advanced software design expertise and the ability to architect and develop real-time monitoring, work automation, and problem detection applications. The position involves leading technical efforts, guiding peers, and delivering innovative solutions to support large-scale operations across a global energy fleet. You’ll work with streaming data, databases, and work ticket tracking systems, while also shaping long-term strategies and providing technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead software system architecture and design from concept to implementation
* Develop applications in multiple languages, primarily C#, with exposure to Python, Java, and JavaScript
* Design, support, and enhance enterprise applications while leading system architecture discussions from concept through implementation; collaborate with end users, IT, and business stakeholders to define and deliver compliant, integrated solutions.
* Stay ahead of emerging technologies, evaluate and propose adoption into architecture roadmaps, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
* Drive large-scale initiatives with strong project management skills, communicate architectural decisions and technical strategies across organizational levels, and contribute to long-term technology direction.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent professional
experience
* 5+ years of professional software development experiencePreferred Qualifications
* Experience leading small engineering teams and architecture projects
* Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders
* Ability to estimate project scope and identify potential roadblocks
* 1+ years of recent experience with C#, Angular, AWS CI/CD, and GitHub Actions
* Strong understanding of AWS cloud computing
* Expertise in CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practice
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
