As a Maintenance Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. Your primary responsibility is to perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting, to maintain a safe, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing environment for our guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of all hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing repairs, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and HVAC system maintenance. Implement a preventative maintenance schedule to minimize breakdowns and equipment failures. Repair and Troubleshooting: Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff. Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, including HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, electrical components, and other mechanical systems. Troubleshoot issues with building systems and identify potential problems before they escalate. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including OSHA standards. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards promptly. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs. Guest Satisfaction: Interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner. Resolve guest complaints and concerns related to maintenance issues in a timely and effective manner.
