Join our DYNAMIC team at Bickford Senior Living as a Happiness Assistant! The Happiness Assistant assists the Happiness Coordinator in all things FUN at the Branch,providing engaging and purpose-filled events and activities.
This position offers a full suite of benefits options that vary based on employment status. RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS
Responsibilities:
Conduct activities in the following categories: physical (exercise), social, recreational, intellectual/educational, creative, entertainment, and special requests of the residents. Invite and/or remind residents to participate in planned activities. Chaperone activities outside the community. Operate a Bickford vehicle to transport residents to activities where applicable. Assist in the development of a Monthly Activity Calendar that incorporates activities 7 days per week and includes evening and weekend activities. Coordinate food needs for scheduled activities with the kitchen. Qualifications:
High-school diploma or GED required. Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication Competent in organizational and time management skills. Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills A valid driver's license and a driving record consistent with Bickford's insurance carrier guidelines.
