Our client, a leader in commercial real estate, is seeking a
Senior Real Estate Manager
to oversee daily operations at a high-profile, mixed-use property in
Mountain View, CA . This is a
full-time, on-site
role operating
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm . This position starts as a
3-month contract opportunity . The position offers the opportunity to take full ownership of property performance, vendor relationships, tenant satisfaction, and budget management. This is an ideal role for a proactive, experienced property management professional who excels at balancing financial oversight with tenant engagement and vendor coordination. The site is currently undergoing several tenant improvement (TI) construction projects, and the Senior Real Estate Manager will play a key role in supporting this work.
Key Responsibilities • Oversee day-to-day operations across a mixed-use commercial site, managing five buildings with retail and office tenants • Walk the property regularly to inspect conditions, identify service needs, and ensure vendor performance • Manage vendors and service contracts including bidding, onboarding, and ensuring contract compliance • Approve and review invoices, ensuring proper coding across six separate budgets for the site • Conduct regular property inspections to maintain quality standards and regulatory compliance • Review leases, enforce lease terms, and address tenant concerns in a timely and professional manner • Participate in leasing calls and collaborate with internal leasing teams • Support active construction efforts, including five tenant improvement (TI) projects • Work independently and manage daily priorities alongside one on-site Assistant Property Manager
Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in commercial or mixed-use property management • Bachelor's degree preferred (Associate's degree accepted) • Comfortable learning and using P2P platforms • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel • Experience with Yardi (accounting software) • Familiarity with document retention platforms • Strong written communication skills and ability to operate independently • Ability to manage and interpret budgets, reallocate funds, and code invoices correctly • Demonstrated experience managing vendors across multiple service categories
Nice to Have • Experience with mixed-use buildings (retail, office, public space) • Construction or contractor oversight experience • Exposure to tenant improvement (TI) project management
